Martyrs in the Millions?

Written by
Hitler told us what he would do to the Jews.  He even wrote a book about it.  But we didn't take him seriously until he actually did what he promised. Then we watched in horror as millions of innocent men, women and children were exterminated in the Nazi death camps.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has also told us what he intends to do to the Jews. He intends to "wipe them from the face of the earth". But it seems we also don't take HIM seriously, even though he too intends to follow through on those promises in order to bring forth his messiah figure, the 12th Imam.

Now, we have Egyptian President Mohammed Mursi's own cleric telling the world what the Muslim Brotherhood is about to do to the Jews. They intend to march to Jerusalem en masse in order to exterminate the Jewish people and take Jerusalem as their capitol.  And still, nobody in the West seems to be taking them seriously.  Even to our own State Department in the United States, this Arab Spring is merely the Muslim people in North Africa making their bid for democracy.

Democracy and Islam are antithetical. Where there is Islam, there can be no democracy. As I've mentioned in so many other posts on this website, Islam is intent on ruling the world, period. Their law is Sharia, and democracy will never be allowed. Please keep this in mind as you view the following video, which clearly shows President Mursi's intent, as expressed by his cleric, while he himself sits on the stage nodding in agreement.

So I'm wondering.......will our government continue to ignore and/or encourage these threats until the Jewish people are once again savaged?  I think the answer is 'yes', and if America stands down and allows it to occur.......we'd better buckle up for our own judgment. There will be no peace for America if Israel falls again on our watch.

I agree with you completely. Our government seems woefully ignorant of the dynamics over there, but we know they are not. I'm convinced there are things in motion over there that we simply don't know about.

Right now I'm listening to a former CIA agent on the radio that is speaking quite clearly on the dynamics of Islam, and how the animosity between Shia and Sunni is fueling the wars in the Middle East. It seems he is quite well informed, and quite aware of how this could play out biblically. And yet,our government seemingly ignores the realities and the solutions that he would offer (maybe that's why he's EX-CIA?).

Things like this make me wonder what is REALLY going on over there.

Mike, I continue to be puzzled (amazed!) at how naive our government is about sharia and democracy. Of course it's not the "moderate" Muslims who will be in charge of the Caliphate (now gathering steam in Syria/Iraq), and like Germany, Russia, Japan, etc., the "moderates" are irrelevant, and they simply get "rolled" once the fanatics take over. Let's stay in touch!

Hi Dave,

Not sure. However, Egypt’s inner struggles seem to be almost inevitable, and probably even scriptural since there are prophecies that refer to Egyptian fighting Egyptian in the last days (Isa 19). They will obviously be divided, but the timing and context of this division remains to be seen.

Regardless, this ongoing battle between their military and the MB is probably not over, and another MB coup might explain why Israel apparently will go into exile in Egypt yet again (Isa 27:12-13), since it’s the MB that is determined to supplant Israel and rule from Jerusalem.

But yes, it seems that Daniel points to the King of the North as the ‘trigger’ for the wars and revolutions of the end times.

I find this whole topic fascinating, but following recent events, it’s about as difficult to nail down as Jello. I suppose what I should have said instead was “I have no idea.” Heh.

What does the arrest of Morsi and the outlawing of the "Brotherhood" portend for Israel and the ME? I think the impetus against Israel will come from the north? Am I wrong?

Small correction:

Ahmadinejad didn't actually talk about wiping the Jews from the face of the earth. The translation was actually 'Zionist regime'. Though Jews don't have the best time in Iran, if there were seriously any intention to carry out such a threat, the less than 30,000 Iranian Jews would be an easy place to start.

For an example of a more accurate rendering, see the following at the Jerusalme Post:

My comment was too long for this administrator, so I'll send it along via e-mail.

I assume the Jeff above is my son. I'm glad to see that you are still in touch with each other. I continue to interact with people on the Jerusalem Post "talkbacks", and it's interesting to note how few people understand the final intent of the Islamists. I'd like to learn a little more about the Sunni Caliphate from your point of view, and how "he" is different from the Shia Mahdi.

Hi Jeff,

What's even more interesting is that the Obama administration supports Mursi. Publicly they say this is 'democracy' in action, but privately they know this is the beginning of the rise of the Sunni Caliphate.

And all the while our media refuses to report on anything that would place Mursi in a negative light, such as this video.

I fear for the future of this country while we continue on this path.

That video is absolutely chilling. I'm flabbergasted.
